Bell & Ross Swinging 40s - 28 July 2011

Jakarta, July 28, 2011 - In collaboration with Time International, BELL & ROSS hosted an exclusive by-invitation-only cocktail party for their customers at Jack Rabbit, Jakarta. At this event BELL & ROSS introduced the Vintage Collection with a model in several versions.

The revolutionary Vintage Heritage pieces are a tribute to the pilots and officers of the historical era, replicating BELL & ROSS iconic design. To evoke the 40s feel, Vintage Heritage watches feature an ergonomic round casing, an anti-matte black carbon finish inspired by the airplane's instrument panel, a curved glass made of sapphire crystals and a natural classic leather strap. Influenced by airplane dashboard clocks, this collection also maintains a vintage dial to optimize legibility by using sand colour on the hands of the dials, and on index and numerals. The Vintage Heritage watched also includes two quality movements: an hours, minutes and seconds version, and a chronograph version.

Upon registration, a saxophonist played at the door to welcome the guests. Guests also took the opportunity to snap some photos with the 'pilots' and their female companion with the 1947 Bel Air DeSoto vintage car outside the venue.

The event was opened by Mr. Nash Benjamin, the CEO of FJ Benjamin, with remarks onBELL & ROSSí collection; the Vintage Heritage Collection. Invited guests were presented with a gallery-type exhibition of BELL & ROSSí watch collection.The dress code for the night was the ìSwinging 40sî and guests were spoilt by an array of entertaining performances in line with the 40s theme; brilliant swing jazz performance by singer Asti Asha accompanied by mini orchestra, a burlesque dance performance and a Lindy Hop Swing dance performance where guests were invited to dance along.

The exclusive private party was well-attended by more than 100 select VIP guests, timepiece connoisseurs and media.Prominent personalities such as Mr. ChossyLatu, Ms. Rossa, Ms. Windy Harun, Ms.Vidia Schulz, Ms. Lily Tjandra and Ms. Aimee Juliet, and VIP customers such as Mr. Noel Arbianto,Ms. AldrinTando, Ms. Ina Lang and Mr. Tony Wong gathered at the soiree.

MC Nadya Mulya hosted the event, and later on guests were entertained bytheresident DJwho pumped up the beat with popular mixes as guests were served by beautiful cigarette girls who made sure they were supplied with champagne, wine and canapÈs throughout the night.
