Our story began in 1999 at Plaza Senayan, Jakarta, where we opened our first boutique and embarked on a mission to offer our clients a refined luxury experience rooted in value, expertise, and choice. This year, The Time Place proudly celebrates 25 years of excellence—a remarkable journey shared with our valued brand partners, loyal clients, and cherished friends.

Get to Know Our History

1999

The First Boutique

The Time Place opened its first boutique at Plaza Senayan, Jakarta, where discerning customers could discover and experience the world of exquisite luxury timepieces. Our original logo was inspired by the hands and index of a timepiece.

2001

Second Establishment in Jakarta

In February 2001, The Time Place proudly unveiled its second boutique in the heart of the capital city, located at Plaza Indonesia. With each new location, The Time Place brought more to our clients, offering more leading brands like Rolex, Chopard, IWC, and Panerai.

2004

Expanding Beyond the Capital City

In 2004, we flew from Indonesia’s capital, Jakarta, to the second-largest city in the archipelago – Surabaya. A new requisite destination for dedicated watch enthusiasts, The Time Place boutique offered additional brands such as Breitling and Tudor. The same year, The Time Place Magazine was launched to offer watch aficionados valuable insights and the latest news in the world of horology.

2010

The Fourth Destination for Watch Connoisseurs

In 2010, The Time Place opened its fourth multi-brand boutique at Pacific Place, Jakarta. It became a premier destination to discover and celebrate fine timepieces, with esteemed brands like Roger Dubuis and Breguet making their debut at The Time Place.

2019

The Time Place 20th Anniversary

In November 2019, the journey of time reached a milestone of two decades, with a celebration that the company shared with its principals, customers, partners, and friends, showcasing two decades of elegance and fine watchmaking.

After a period of renovation, The Time Place Plaza Indonesia reopened, unveiling a boutique interior that was defined by a glamorous revival concept.

As we entered the new year, The Time Place was proud to announce the reopening of the newly redesigned boutique in Plaza Senayan, Jakarta, inviting our customers to experience the new concept atmosphere for watch enthusiasts.
