Jaeger-LeCoultre is thrilled to officially name Anya Taylor-Joy as the new global ambassador. Discover the short video “A Call of the Heart,” based on a symbolic phone call welcoming her into La Grande Maison.
Born in Miami to British-Argentine parents and raised in Buenos Aires and London, prolific actress Anya Taylor-Joy has starred in a series of critically-acclaimed roles, including Netflix hit The Queen’s Gambit, which won her a Golden Globe, a Screen Actors’ Guild award, and a Critics’ Choice award.

And she’s just getting started. After Last Night in Soho and The Northman, Anya stars in upcoming titles; David O. Russell’s Amsterdam with Christian Bale, comedy-horror The Menu with Ralph Fiennes and fellow Jaeger-LeCoultre brand ambassador Nicholas Hoult and Mad Max prequel Furiosa.
Anya perfectly embodies the timeless elegance and multifaceted allure of the Reverso Classic Duetto on her wrist.
It all began in a phone booth in 1903. Jacques-David LeCoultre cycled 20 KM to the nearest telephone station in Vallorbe. There, he accepted a challenge from Parisian watchmaker Edmond Jaeger, who offered to design and produce a new ultra-thin movement.
This call marked the beginning of a perfect alliance between Jaeger’s Parisian chic and LeCoultre’ Swiss savoir-faire that led to the official creation of what is now Jaeger-LeCoultre.
With the elegance of another era and a sharply modern edge, Anya Taylor-Joy is the personification of the Reverso Classic Duetto. The Reverso Classic Duetto brilliantly invokes the codes of the Art Deco style that defines it while displaying two rows of diamonds on its front and reverse sides.
Inspired by the Reversos created in the late 1930s, this classic model is the expression of the rectangular icon with a swivelling concept that turns the reverse side into a second expression of time with another style.
This new interpretation offers the Duetto concept the opportunity to deliver its double set of hands in two different and complementary settings. The Reverso Classic features the original three-lined gadroons and 12 Arabic numerals, two-tone finished dials, and sword hands, all elevated by an inside cradle finished with circular graining resembling the refined finishes on its calibre.
Designed to be admired, worn and made your own, the watch illuminates the wrists of all who wear it. Precious, feminine and seductive, it offers double the timeless beauty to tell a story from different perspectives.
