Since its relaunch in 2020, the Chronomat has become Breitling’s best-selling model. To keep the collection’s name being top of mind on the watch market, Breitling is constantly creating and producing new models that come with new design and mechanism.
Previous Chronomat models came in 44mm (the largest) and 32mm for the three-hand models (the smallest). Then, at the end of 2022, Breitling released a new 38-diameter Super Chronomat Automatic designed for all wrist sizes. Not only in terms of size, each model brings something new to the table.
The Super Chronomat Automatic 38 is designed to make a statement, whether paired with a tuxedo or a T-shirt and jeans. You can distinguish the “Super” from the rest of the Chronomat family through the ceramic riders tab, crown and rouleaux rubber strap.
The dial still comes with a Chronomat-style design with its iconic time & date watch-style layout. The dial colors variations (mint green and ice blue) add aesthetic options to the family. Silver applied indexes are featured on the ice blue dial, meanwhile rose gold indexes are featured on the mint green dial.
A beautiful diamond setting comes on the 18k red gold or stainless steel bezel. You can pair your favorite color with your choice of rubber rouleaux strap, polished rouleaux bracelet or crocodile leather strap. This is a perfect touch for a watch that can be used for a wide range of activities.
This watch is powered by the Breitling Caliber 17, a self-winding movement that beats at 28,800 vph and has a power reserve of up to 38 hours. Coming with a COSC certification, the movement is guaranteed to be accurate.
The caseback comes with a solid stainless steel material, and while we can’t take a peek at the inner workings of the movement, the solid case back fits perfectly with the overall profile of the watch.
