Cindy Angelino

“I adore anything to do with my fashion”

Cindy Angelina has always worn her heart, and her passion, on her well-coutured sleeve: as a child, she played dress up and pored over fash ion magazines and blogs. Soft-spoken, she brims with excitement when discussing her anointment as a fashion “it” girl.

“I love doing fashion photo shoots, watching fashion shows and getting dressed up for events, especially when people appreciate and compli ment my style. I see fashion as art, a way that I can empower and express myself through style,” says Cindy, who admires the devil-may-care style choices of editor Anna Dello Russo.

“Style is meant to be fun and to give people freedom. It’s very important to not follow trends blindly,” she says of her definition of being stylish.

She is not all style and no substance. The graduate in international business from Pepperdine Univer sity is setting up a foundation to provide clean water to communities in East Nusa Tenggara, site of many of her family’s property developments.
