Putting aside the unique blue ceramic perpetual calendar from Audemars Piguet, white ceramic is one of the rarest materials utilised by the manufacturer. But, the Royal Oak Selfwinding 34mm has received the complete ceramic treatment from Audemars Piguet.
It used to only be offered in black with rose gold accents, but it is now back in a brand-new, incredibly attractive combination of white ceramic with a silvery-white dial and traditional rose gold decorations.

White ceramic is used for the case, bezel, and bracelet, whereby all Royal Oak models have the same design and finishings with ultra-sharp edges, a blend of brushed surfaces, and polished accents. The caseback, the clasp, and the hexagonal screws that hold the bezel are now all made of rose gold.
This 34mm white ceramic Royal Oak watch’s dial is presented in a silvery-white colour to match the case, and it has the brand’s iconic Grande Tapisserie design. Rose gold is used in subtle touches on the hands and applied makers, which are all covered with luminous material, in a manner similar to the exterior.
The logo is now produced owing to galvanic growth in 24k gold, and the date wheel matches the colour of the dial. Even if it’s just a small touch, the gold in every detail really has a big impact on how this watch looks. Giving the white ceramic case a good match.
Inside the case, there’s calibre 5800, a small automatic movement with a frequency of 4Hz/28,800vph that comes with a power reserve of 50 hours and a 22k gold rotor. Despite its small size for women, the Royal Oak Selfwinding 34mm White Ceramic offers a large damping factor that is likely to catch the attention of both women and men.
