Last week, the NBA Summer League came to an end. The league’s newest entries and youngest stars faced off in exhibition play under the bright lights of Las Vegas, and some of the league’s greatest names were in attendance. They didn’t come alone, though. They brought some very impressive timepieces, and we’ve chosen a few of our favorites to share with you over the previous two weeks.

Even though the Big Baller Brand is virtually dead, the Ball brothers are in better form than ever.

With a courtside seat to watch his younger brother, LiAngelo Ball, play during Summer League, big brother Lonzo Ball celebrated his recent $80 million contract with the Chicago Bulls. The heavy-hitting Rolex Day-Date 40mm in platinum with an ice-cold blue dial was on his wrist.

D-Lo was hailed as a Magic Johnson-level player with otherworldly passing talents coming out of Ohio State. He’s an undeniable talent who doesn’t receive nearly enough national television exposure, but at this year’s Summer League in Vegas, he proved himself with a fiery black ceramic AP Royal Oak Tourbillon. Whatever you think of his hoop game, his watch game is impressive.

This year, we watched him win gold at the Olympics, flaunting his white porcelain Royal Oak QP.

In Sin City, he wore the now-legendary Black Panther watch, which he’s been seen wearing several times. If anybody can pull off that watch, it’s the guy who promised Kevin Durant the Warriors could and did win without him. Only time will tell if that prediction is correct.

Anthony Edwards is one of the NBA’s most promising young players. He’s also one of the most entertaining. Edwards gave one of the most memorable moments of the brief Summer League season in a courtside interview with ESPN reporter Monica McNutt. During the interview, he wore a very eye-catching watch on his wrist: the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding Chronograph with full factory gems.

Bamba has been under a lot of expectation to perform at a level that only a few NBA stars achieve. But he’s still young, and I have faith in him. In fact, his understated and sophisticated wrist watch just adds to my admiration for him. The tall 7-footer is seated with the fans for a Summer League game, wearing a super-cool Titanium Santos de Cartier on its famous bracelet.

Trae Young’s breakthrough came this season. He proved to the league that the Hawks’ trade of Luka Doncic for him was not a mistake (even if present company thinks it was). He does his best Steph Curry impression every night – although in a far less effective manner. I’ll be the first to admit that Trae is entertaining to watch. It’s only natural that he’d choose a watch that’s as icy as his game. That would be the frosted white gold Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph.
